Kim and John Shohfi's 1927 English Tudor home suits the needs of a busy couple with three young children perfectly, and they look forward to living there for a long time. But there's one home improvement project they've been thinking about ever since they moved in: the time has finally come to tackle the kitchen. Which designer will they choose for the redo?

After meeting with all the designers, the Shohfis choose the design team of Janet Bussell and Barrie Livingstone. Though the couple significantly increased their budget, they agree it was worth the investment. Now their kitchen is an open, airy, state-of-the-art space with charming Old World accents.
